Slippahs is the pidgin word that describes the footwear worn most frequently
by locals in Hawaii.
Slippahs are Original Woodblock Prints in an Edition Varêe of 100. The
series is completed using three blocks and chine collê (which is
the addition of Japanese papers through the printing process). An edition varêe
means that all of the prints use the same wood block plates but that the colors
and assembly and Japanese paper chine collê varies
from print to print. Truly no two prints are exactly alike. Read
the detailed information on each print to learn more about the specific piece
you are interested in. The digital photos of the Slippahs
provide a close approximation of the print.
